This is an opportunity to provide your mother with some comic relief: imagine if all of their nails were suddenly missing, or their playlists were all mysteriously replaced with La Boheme. Perhaps all of their tools could be switched out with cute Little Tykes sets (which make only a bit less noise, but they come in fun primary colors). Maybe you could whip them up a batch of ex-lax laden brownies. Adding a bit of Gorilla glue to the deck stain could be entertaining, too. Really, if you just take a minute to brainstorm, the possibilities are endless.
